What is the minimum age?

We believe each person is individual therefore this needs to be assessed on a case-by-case situation. We suggest if you are looking to sign your child up to the gym you make a time to come in with the child and speak to the manager about your individual needs.

The manager will discuss options with the parent and if both are comfortable then we will allow from 12 years of age to become a member with parent consent forms being signed. Parents will also need to sign a waiver for children under 14 years of age.

Any child aged under 18 will need parent consent to be able to obtain a membership at Express Fitness 24/7.

Paperwork required from mum and dad

If you are aged 14 – 17 you will need your parent to give consent on the membership form.
If you are aged 12 – 14 you will need your parent to give consent on the membership form as well as complete a waiver for under 14.If you are aged 18 and over you are able to obtain a membership without parental permission.

Are you able to obtain an access card?

If you are aged 12 – 14 you will not be issued with an access card and will need to attend the gym either with your parent who will need to be an active member or during our staffed hours.
If you are aged 14 – 17 this will be accessed on a case-by-case situation at the discretion of both the club manager and the parent. If permission is granted a consent form will need to be completed by your parent.
If you are aged over 17 you will be able to obtain an access card with your membership however if your parent advises they don’t approve of you having an access card you will need to wait till you are 18.
